My name is Stephanie and I am a proud mother of two very beautiful boys that keep me insanely busy:) I am a stay at home mom and help my husband out with the accounting aspect of our businesses. It is pretty difficult to find time for myself but I am making fitness a priority!
I used to run consistently for over two years…but never truly enjoyed it. Looking back I realized that running helped me be in the best shape mentally and physically and it is something I found I was missing in my life. I have committed to my very first half marathon this October and this is the beginning of my fitness journey! This time around running has become something that I actually look forward to. Some days are easier than others but I have a new found love for running outside and am enjoying taking everything in around me. Staying fit helps me be a better mother, wife and friend and overall a much happier person! For the first time in my life I am not concerned/obsessed with losing weight, I just want to feel amazing.
I am going to be blogging about my running experience these next 10 weeks leading up to the marathon and beyond and hoping this is just the beginning of a brand new healthy life.
